Smirking, Atalo watched as his father left, and turned to face [Lysandra] once his father was out of sight. The ghostly tom then reached out and slipped an arm around his half sister's waist, while a confident yet haunting smile graced his model-esc features.


"Hmmm," he cooed, eyeing her over, ";I am proud of you. Not many queens stand their ground around daddy dearest. You're quite the exception." And she was. Lyra was most definitely a fine future prospect, and with the proper training and acknowledgment, she could assist in the growth of HIS future kingdom.

"You seem... deserving of a gift." As his smile widened, Atalo leaned forward, practically nose to nose with the grey queen.

Above is a segment taken from 's latest Atalo post on NJG, and it was so vivid to me that I HAD to draw the last moment of it.

So this is, naturally, Lysandra, daughter of Macavity and Sarone (an OC queen), and Atalo, son of Macavity and Griddlebone, aka the future leader of the Warehouse.

Ummmmm I guess I don't have much else to say. It's one of the first things I've drawn without any reference image for the post, so I'm pretty happy with it.

Atalo looks WAY friendlier than I'd intended... ah well.

EDIT-- I changed a few mistakes and tried to make Atalo's expression more... or, I guess less... I don't know. But it's a little more Atalo-esque now.
Also, I've already changed the file about 5 times. I keep finding bits I'm not happy with.
